Helen V. Maxwell, 58, of 5926 Bluewater highway, died Tuesday evening at her 
residence following a short illness.

She was born July 6, 1911, in New Hampshire and has been a resident of Saranac 
area since 1947.  She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic church of Saranac.

Besides her husband Howard L., she leaves a son, Michael of Grand Rapids; two 
daughters, Rosalie Maxwell of Grand Rapids and Marcia at home; two 
grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Bridgette Kendrigan of New Hampshire; three 
brothers, Edward and Robert of New Jersey and Joseph of New Hampshire; two 
sisters, Mrs. Mary Loughlin and Mrs. Evelyn Forrest of New Hampshire.

Funeral mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic church in 
Saranac.  Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Morris-Roetman 
funeral home in Saranac.  Interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
