The Portland Review, Thursday, November 15, 1962

Leo F. May, 80, of 15080 Cutler, Portland died November 7 at a Lansing 
hospital.  He was born Dec. 11, 1898 in Westphalia Township, the son of Henry 
and Mary Riest.

His survivors include his wife, Rosena; a son, Donald of Portland; four 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  

The rosary service took place November 9 from the Neller Funeral Home and the 
funeral mass was November 10 at St. Patrick’s in Portland, with Rev. Fr. 
Donald Weber officiating.  The burial was in Portland Cemetery.
