LINDA MAYBEE

HUBBARDSTON, MICHIGAN
Linda Lou Maybee (formerly Vance), age 73, of Hubbardston, passed away on Sunday 
September 26, 2021. She was born March 15, 1948 in St.Johns, the daughter of 
Oral and Ona (Beebe) Reed. 
On May 2, 1997, Linda married Douglas Maybee, and together they enjoyed 24 years 
together. Linda was an active and fun-loving person.She enjoyed camping, going 
to bingo, garage sales, and traveling around in Michigan with her husband, Doug, 
in their 5th wheel. 
In her younger years, Linda played softball, and was active in bowling, pool, 
and dart leagues. Yet, Linda's greatest joy was her family. 
Linda is survived by her husband, Doug; children, Tammi (Christopher) Cusack, 
Michael (Courtney) Vance, Cindy (Don) Roll, and Dan (Brandi) Vance; step-
daughter, Andrea (Keith) Bergeron; 20 grandkids; 14 great grandkids; siblings, 
Judy (Cleo)Schlegel, Steve Reed, and Sally (Don) Fields; sister-in-law, Carol 
Reed; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Rodrick Vance, brother, 
Lloyd Reed; and grandson Ryder Vance.
A Memorial service will be held at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City, on 
Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11;00 a.m. Visitation will take place on Thursday, 
September 30, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home, and from 10:00-11:00 AM the 
day of the service.
