Reeves, in Otisco, August 22, 1895, John Maycomber, aged 81 years, 4 months, 15 days. He was a native of the state of New York, where he resided until 1880 when he came to Michigan with his daughter, Mrs. Reeves. He had been a great sufferer for many years but bore all patiently until relieved by the Silent Reaper. He leaves four children, Mrs. W.L. Reeves, Otisco, Mrs. G.W. Fish, Owosso, George and Melvin Maycomber, Courtland, N.Y., to mourn his loss. Services were held at the house, Saturday at 2 o’clock, Rev. W.L. Whiting officiating.
