Mrs. Marie C. Maynard, 77, of route 1, 5557 East Bluewater highway died at her 
home Monday morning following an illness of 2 ½ years.

Born in Ionia, April 13, 1893, she was the daughter of Joseph and Minnie 
Woodrich Meisling.  She was married August 13, 1913, in Ionia to Olney 
Maynard.  She was a member of St Johns Lutheran church.

Surviving besides her husband, Olney, are two sons, LaWayne W. and Jack of 
Lansing; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Frank Gaut of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home.  
Rev. A. R. Gallert of St Johns Lutheran church will officiate and interment 
will be at Balcom cemetery.

Family will be at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
