Ionia Sentinel, May 12, 1988

PORTLAND - M. Ruth Maynard, 82, of 1800 Lillian Blvd., Portland, died May 12 at 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 18, 1906 in Ionia County, the daughter of William and 
Katherine Kenny Patterson.

Surviving are one son, Robert F. Maynard of Portland; two daughters, Jeanne 
Criules of Lansing and Marjorie Maynard of Lexington, S.C.; one daughter-in-
law, Bonnie Maynard of Fenwick; five grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, and one son.

She was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  She was a retired 
manager of the North Star Bus Station.

Rosary services will be Friday at 8 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church in Ionia, the Rev. James Hoogterp officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
