ROBERT "WALLY" F. MAYNARD
Died. May 11, 2022-age 77 of Portland
Born May 19, 1944 in Ionia, the son of Cecil & Ruth (Patterson) Maynard.
Graduated from SS.Peter & Paul Catholic School in Ionia.
He Joined the U.S. Air Force where he served at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in 
Oscoda, Michigan for four years.
Married Ellen Meyers of Lake Odessa & raised two sons, Scott & Sean Maynard.
Retired fro TRW in Portland, later drove cars for Berger Motor Sales in Ionia.
He loved spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren, Cole, Sawyer, 
Nick & Drew.
He enjoyed watching grandchildren's sporting events & playing golf.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Maynard; sister,Marjorie 
Seelye; in-laws, Homer & June Meyers; brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Linda 
Carroll & brother-in-law, Norm Hilts.
Survived by wife, Ellen: sons, Scott (Carrie) Maynard & Sean (Heather) Maynard; 
four grandsons, sister-in-law Suzanne Hilt; brother-sin-law, Bret(Susan) Meyers 
& Eric Meyers; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Dan) Ferguson & many nieces nephews & 
friends.
Funeral service will be on his birthday May 19, 2022 at 11:00a.m.with Pastor 
Robert Beckett officiating at Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
Interment in Portland Cemetery to follow.
Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m at the funeral Chapel.
