The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, January 15, 1969
Mrs. Marie Mae Maynard, 70, of rural Orleans died Tuesday afternoon at her 
home following a lengthy illness.  She was born March 4, 1898 in Kentucky, the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bowling.  August 25, 1915 she was married to 
Frank A. Maynard in Greenup, Ky., and moved to their Orleans township home in 
1918 where they have since lived.

Besides her husband, Frank A., she leaves a son Frank W. of Pottersville, and 
one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Dingman of Gowan; seven grandchildren and one great 
granddaughter; five brothers, Thomas Bowling of Winchester, Ohio, Ellis, 
Edward and Cecil of Greenup and Jesse of Load, Ky.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Interment 
will be at Orleans cemetery.
