Judson Ernest Maynard, 95, of Ionia, passed away on Sept. 23, 2015.  He was born on
July 7, 1920.  

Jud was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, his parents, Orrie and Cleo
Maynard, his brothers Charlie and Ken, and sister, Maxine.  

Jus is survived by his children: James (Janice) Maynard, Nancy (Jim) Urban and John
(Lynn) Maynard; Grandchildren: Jami Maynard, Justin (Lacey) Maynard, Dana (Ryan)
Tatge, Kristin Maynard, Seth, Michael and Matt Urban; Great Grandchildren: Serenity
(Seth) Urban, Ellery (Jami) Maynard and Evelyn (Dana) Tatge.  He is also survived by
good friend and dance partner, Linda Brooks.

Memorials can be contributed to the Ionia YMCA 3rd Grade Water Safety Program.  Jud
had a smile for everyone and a hug for those who needed it.

The funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Kenneth Harger at 11 a.m.,
Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.  Interment
will follow at Balcom Cemetery.  Military graveside honors will be provided V.F.W. 
David Huhn Ionia Post.  The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday at
the funeral home.
