Dr. Herbert M. Maynard, 64, died suddenly at his home on East Washington Street 
late Sunday night. He had made a call during the evening and had then come home 
… He had had a slight touch of flu and had gone to his care for heart medicine 
which he customarily took. When Mrs. Maynard found she could not rouse her 
husband, she called in Dr. Marsh who said death was the result of a heart 
attack…
