Leroy Edward McAllister, 48, of Ionia, loving husband and father passed away on 
July 4, 2012. He was born on June 19, 1964 in Ionia.

Leroy loved to fish, enjoyed being outdoors and being with his family. He 
enjoyed playing games and playing catch with his daughter, Sharon. Leroy loved 
the Nazarene Church as well as going to Burger King to hear Dan Miller and his 
country legends music. On Jan. 2, 1988 he married Mary Jo Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Edward Bodman; brother, Alfred 
McAllister; and step-father, William Priest.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo McAllister; daughter Sharon Ann McAllister; 
mother Edna Mat (Hatfield) Priest; brothers, Garry (Iris) McAllister of Orleans 
and Roger (Carolyn) McAllister of Belding; and sisters, Linda Bennett of Ionia, 
Robin Shattuck of Ionia and Brenda (David) Mosley of Belding.

The Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Cliff Allen at 11 a.m., 
Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Zion United Methodist Church, Ionia.
