Lake Odessa Wave - January 21, 1971
           PEARL McARTHUR PASSED AWAY
   Mrs. Pearl McArthur, 83, passed away Tuesday morning at the Barry County Medical
Center, Hastings, after 
a long illness.
   She was born in Nebraska May 14, 1887, daughter of Frank and Viola (Heberly)
Nash, and came to Michigan 
with her parents when a small child and settled in the Woodland area.
   Mrs. McArthur was employed as a practical nurse at the Isabella Home in Grand
Rapids for several years.
   Surviving are a son, Hollis of Lake Odessa, and one sister, Mrs. Carl (Florence)
Niethamer of Hastings.
   Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral
Chapel, Lake Odessa.  Rev. 
Marvin Zimmerman officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
