Lake Odesa Wave - September 15, 1905
          SUDDEN DEATHS.
   Theu funeral of Horace McArthus, of Broom township, Isabella county, was held
from the U. B. Church 
Saturday afternoon and the services conducts by Rev. Yost.
   Mr. McArthur has in former years lived in this vicinity, his home being near
Woodland Center.  The deceased 
was the victim of a fatal accident which occurred at his home while he was working
on a threshing machine.  
In some manner Mr. McArthur fell through an opening and the force of the fall
shocked him so severly that he 
lived only through the night.  It was thought at first his neck was broken but such
was not the case.
   The deceased was sixty years old and leaves a wife, his daughter having preceded
him to the grave a 
number of years ago.
