Lake Odessa Wave - Friday July 28, 1893

Frank McArthur, who was called home by the death of his mother, has retuned to 
Lake Odessa. The following is clipped from the Woodland correspondent in the 
Nashville News; We are pained to chronicle the death of Mrs.Chas. McArthur, which 
occurred on Wednesday afternoon. An attempt on Tuesday afternoon was made by Dr. 
Martin, of Ann Arbor, to remove the tumor, but it was not successful. Mrs. 
McArthur was a highly esteemed lady and leaves a large circle of friends.
