Ionia Sentinel, 30 Aug 1888

Mr. Stephen D. McArthur, father of Mrs. G.F. Faude, died at their residence in the
second ward in this city, near Peter Hackett’s, on Friday afternoon.  The funeral
services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the residence.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in
Highland Park Cemetery.]
