Mrs. Lou McBride, 96, of Grove Street, Portland, died Friday in St. Lawrence
Hospital.  She was born Jan. 16, 1885, in Hamilton, Ontario.  She was a member of
the Portland Congregational Church and the Congregational Guild and Choir.

Her husband, Dr. W.H. McBride, preceded her in death.  She is survived by one son,
Harold, of Lansing, three step grandchildren, and three step great-great
grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home, the Rev.
Ronald Lahr officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be
Robert Cheetham, Arthur Scott, Blaine and Leo O’Neil, David Bingham Sr. and David
Bingham Jr.
