David D. McCain, 54, Harrison, previously of Ionia, passed away Jan. 22, 2001 
at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin.

He was born on April 3, 1946 in Ionia and was the son of the late Darwin and 
Margaret (Castle) McCain. He was united in marriage on March 17, 1981 to Tanya 
(Edmister) McCain in Gerlech, Nev.

Surviving family members are wife, Tanya McCain of Harrison; two sons, Ronald 
(Denise) McCain of Perry and Brian McCain; two daughters, Brittany McCain and 
Stacey McCain all of the home’ two sisters, Betty (Ron) Jackson of Hersey and 
Debbie (Terry) Pallack of Ionia; and two brothers, Terry Hamilton of Orilla, 
Ont. and Dick (Rosemary) Hamilton of Orleans. 

He was preceded by his parents and brother, Gordon Landis.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday at the Harrion Church 
of God in Harrison. Pastor Tom Vaughn officiate.

Contributions may be made to the family of David McCain. 

Arrangements were made through Smith Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 
Harrison.
