Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard
Darwin E. McCain, 65, formerly of Orleans, died Thursday afternoon at Belding 
Christian nursing home in Belding after a long illness.  Born July 29, 1912, at 
Sears, he was the son of Frank and Zora McCain.  He attended the Evart public 
schools.  He was a retired employee with Zohler-Jarvis company, in Grand Rapids.

He is survived by one son, David of Ionia; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ronald 
Jackson of Grand Rapids; one brother, Earlyn of Sears; one sister, Mrs. Pearl 
Bennett of Sears; and one grandson.

Services are Saturday at 1 pm at Hull Memorial chapel in Muir with Rev Ralph 
Barton of Temple Baptist church officiating.  Burial is in Forest Hill cemetery 
at Sears.
