The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, October 14, 1983
Earlyn McCain, 79, formerly of Flint, died October 10 in Havlock, North 
Carolina.  He was born July 2, 1904 in Sears, Michigan.  He was employed at 
Fisher Body in Flint for more than 30 years, retiring in 1966.

His survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Ted and Marie McCain of 
North Port, Florida, and Wayne and Madeline McCain of Havlock, North Carolina; 
one daughter, Mrs. Neil (Hazel) Fairchild of Phoenix, Arizona; six 
grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Bennett of 
Cortez, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 
his wife Lila in 1974.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today from the Dods-Dumanois Funeral Home, 
Flint, with Rev. Roger Parker officiating.  Burial will be in Crestwood 
Memorial Gardens.
