WILLIAM R. McCALLISTER II
d. Sunday July 11, 2021-age 61 of Carson City at Grand Rapids Heart Center.
Born July 14, 1959 in Findlay, Ohio.
Son of William and Kay (McCommons) McCallister I.
Graduated from Carson City High School in class of 1977.
Attended Ferris State University  earning his Associate Degree.
Bill married Barbara Dakin on April 22, 2006.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, working hard, riding motorcycles, Nascar, 
beagles & loved his grandchildren & golfing.
Survived by his wife, children Raymond (Jessica) McCallister, Marie 
(Craig)McAlvey, Shawn (Josh) McAlvey, step-sons Jon (Herb Lewis) Tomlinson, Tony 
(fiancee Candance McCoy)Tomlinson.
plus 8.95 grandchildren Miles, Asher, Addileigh, avi, Meredith, Jasper, Agnes, 
Francis & new baby on the way, mother Kay (Larry) McCallister Schafer, the 
children's mother Janice McCallister, nephews Matthew & Joshua Decker, niece 
Hannah Decker & Many close friends.
Preceded in death by his father & sister Tamela McCallister-Decker.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 12 noon at First Fellowship 
Center with Pastor Jim Barrett officiating.
Interment in Bloomer Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 am until time of service at Fellowship 
Center.
Memorials can be made to the Dr. William R. McCallister Scholarship Fund at the 
Fellowship Baptist Academy at First Baptist Church in Carson City, Mi. or the 
Van Andel Institute.
Arrangement are entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral, Carson City.
