Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Aug 1983

Mrs. Nancy J. McCaney passed away this morning at her home, 514 Blanchard alley. 
Mrs. McCaney was 78 years of age, and has lived in Ionia since 1878.  She is
survived by two sons, Frank, who has been caring for his mother, and Charles, living
on Wa__ street; also a sister, Mrs. M. Mar___, Sheridan, and a brother William Getz,
of Pontiac.  The funeral will be held Monday at the SS. Peter and Paul’s church at
nine o’clock, Rev. Fr. McCarthy officiating.  Interment will be at the Highland Park
cemetery.
