He was born in the county Tyrone, Ireland, February 10, 1843, and came to this country when but twelve years of age. He was married at Hancock, Mich., July 26, 1866, to Miss Mary McAuliffe, who, with four of their seven children, survive him. The funeral services will be held from the Church of SS. Peter and Paul on Saturday morning at 8 o’clock. Deceased had a fall from a scaffold into a pit in the round house about a year ago, and it was since thought he was hurt internally; he was not so well, after that, and complained frequently. He was a member of the A.O.H., the C.M.B.A., and the Pere Marquette Shopmen’s Mutual, and was highly regarded by all who knew him for his industrious habits. ---- The C.M.B.A., members are requested to meet at the home of Brother Frank McCanney, on Saturday morning at 7 o’clock, with badges, to attend his funeral.
