Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Jul 1963

Mrs. Ella Ann McCarry, 89, of 439 Taylor court, died Friday at Ionia County
Memorial hospital where she had been a patient seven days.  A lifelong resident
of Ionia, she was born June 14, 1874 in Orange township, the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert J. Ritenburgh.  She was married to Charles G. McCarry, October 24,
1925 and in 1926 moved to the Taylor court residence.  Mr. McCarry died January
15, 1962.  Mrs. McCarry was a member of First Methodist church and Women’s
Society of Christian Service.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cassie Dick of DeWitt, Mrs. Esther Klooz of
Lansing; a step-daughter, Mrs. Gaile Guggenbuhl of Bronxville, N.Y.; a stepson,
Lee McCarry of Holt; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at Boynton funeral home Monday at 2 p.m.  The Rev.
Harold A. Jayne will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
