Judith Ann "Judy" Bowerman-McCarty, 66, of Belding went to be with her Lord and 
Savior on Saturday morning Sept. 29, 2012 at Spectrum Health in Greenville.

Judy was born on July 22, 1946 in Hastings, the daughter of Ralph and Nellie 
(Maratt) Bowerman Sr. Judy graduated from Lake Odessa High School with the 
Class of 1964, attended college in Wisconsin and Montcalm Community College. 

She enjoyed bingo, knitting, loved listening to music, spending time with her 
family and was a longtime member of AA. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother 
and friend to many. No one could ever love her children as much as she did. 
Judy was the best mom ever.

She is loved and survived by her children, Michelle McCarty of Saranac, LeeAnn 
McCarty of Belding, Carrie (Mark) Holderbaum of Saranac, Christina McCarty of 
Sheridan; her grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Hope, Terry Jr., Brian, Elijah, 
Noah, Denise and Jonah; her brothers, Ralph L. (Mary) Bowerman Jr. of Orleans 
and Gordon E. (Janice) Bowerman Sr. of East Lansing; and her aunts, Maxine 
(Ronald) Wildman and Carolyn (Frank) Wapinnik.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake 
Odessa with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the wishes of the family. Funeral care
