Richard Paul McCartney, age 54, of Kinross, Michigan died October 3, 2008 at 
his home. Richard grew up in Detroit, graduating from Cass Tech High School and 
then working in the music record promotion business. For much of his adult life 
he lived in lake Odessa, Michigan where he met his wife, Tina. They were 
married July 22, 1988 in Ludington, Michigan. In 2000, they moved to Kinross 
where they owned and operated Countrywood Cabins. Richard is survived by his 
wife, Tina; daughter, Kristen Marie (Thomas) Gousetis of Langsburg, Michigan; 
step daughter, Talia (Craig) Leland of Greenville, Michigan; grandchildren; 
Brianna Gousetis and Thomas Gousetis Jr.; and step-granddaughter, Alexis Marie 
Leland. Also surviving are his sister, Jerrie Levering of Saranac, MI; niece, 
Nicole Levering; and nephews, James Levering and Jerrod Husted. No public 
services will be held. Reamer Galer Funeral Home of Pickford is serving the 
family.
