Minnie McCarty, 72 Dies in Hastings

Mrs. Minnie McCarty, 72, wife of a retired Congregational minister, Rev. Lowell
McCarty, died Sunday in Pennock hospital.  Funeral services were held on Tuesday
at the Methodist church, with burial in Riverside cemetery.

The couple was married in Stanton and had lived in Hillsdale, Grant, Crystal,
Metamora, Perry, Portland and Breckenridge before moving to Hastings four years
ago.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Three brothers and six
grandchildren.  

Rev. and Mrs. Glenn McCarty and the Emerson McCarty family attended the services.
