Hastings Reminder, 14 Nov 2015

June Marie (Piercefield) McCaul, age 81, of Clarksville passed peacefully at her
home on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 with her loving family at her side.

She was born on July 19, 1934 to William Joe and Thelma Irene (Catlin) Piercefield. 
June was the middle child of 13 children.  She married her high school sweetheart
Robert McCaul on May 31, 1953.  They were blessed with 62 wonderful years of
marriage and four children David, Janice, Theresa and Pamela.  She farmed alongside
Robert on their dairy farm in Clarksville until their retirement, when they enjoyed
winters in Florida.

June was a very active member of the community.  She volunteered many hours for the
Community Basket Drive, Cub and Boy Scout Leader, volunteered for the Clarksville Ox
Roast and was grand marshall with Bob in 2002, Clarksville Precinct Voting as well
as being a long-term member of the Weselyan Church in Clarksville, running many of
their funeral luncheons.  June was famous for her homemade pies.  She was a very
giving person who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met.

June will be dearly missed by her husband, Robert “Bob”; children, David (Lisa)
McCaul, Janice Cowling, Theresa (Kerry) McMillen; grandchildren, Desiree Cowling,
Ceaira Potter, Shelly (Joe) Severson, Leanne (Mike) Palmer, Andrea (Eric) Andreau,
Steffen (Lauren Schilling) Mantlo; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Robert
Severson, Kayson and Janessa Palmer, Milah Jo Boyer.

June was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Russell and Gertrude (Tanis)
McCaul; siblings, Pearl (Vernon) Richardson, Leroy (Blanche) Piercefield, Norman
Piercefield, Gordon Piercefield and daughter, Pamela Richards; sister-in-law, Mary
McCaul and Charles McCaul and Virginia Creighton.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 15, 2 to 4 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel,
935 4th Ave., Lake Odessa, MI  48849.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov.
16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Clarksville Bible Church with the family receiving
friends and family from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will take place at
Clarksville Cemetery.
