Funeral services were held Monday with burial in Portland cemetery. Following services at the church Mrs. McCausey, with her daughter, Edna, went to their automobile parked near. Discovering a flat tire the two ladies started to change it when the mother became ill and got into the car while Edna completed the work. Mrs. McCausey was born in New York state 63 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Rhinehart May and came to Portland when a young girl. In 1888 she was married to Mr. McCausey. Besides the husband she is survived by four children, Will and Miss Edna, who reside at home, Floyd, of that vicinity, and Raymond, of Detroit. Two sisters and three brothers also survive. They are Mrs. Emma Phillips and Mrs. Frank Fineis, of Portland; Charles May, Portland; Edward, Pentwater; and Joseph, of Bunker Hill, Mich.
