The Portland Observer, Wednesday, January 23, 1901
Last week The Observer made brief mention of the death of Charles McCausey of 
Danby.  He was in the 75th year of his age.  The cause of his death was 
pneumonia and pleurisy.  He had been a resident of Danby for upward of 40 
years and his death was sudden although his health had not been good for some 
time.
