November 16, 2024 MCCLANAHAN Angela "Angie" Jean McClanahan, 48, of Muir, Michigan, passed away on November 6, 2024, after a battle with cancer.Angie was born on October 15, 1976, to David and Debbie(Whisman) McClanahan and grew up in Hamersville, Ohio. In 2000, Angie moved to Michigan, where she spent the remainder of her life. Angie was known for her love of Monster energy drinks, her tattoo work and tattoo shops, and the love she had for her friends and family. She had a heart like no other and made sure to always tell everyone she loved them. If you spent more than 5 minutes with Angie,you knew that Aril 30, 2011, was the best day of her life; the day her son Ethan was born. Angie's pride and joy was Ethan, and she made sure that everyone knew it. She enjoyed doing tattoos, spending time with her family and friends, spending long nights a the tattoo shop, and would often be found in the kitchen making her famous fried chicken. She was known as "The Tattoo Lady". Even if Angie didn't know you very well, she would always say her famous line "text me when you make it home safe"- and that basically sums up the kind of person she was. Angie is survived by her mother Debbie (Tom) Whisman; her son, Ethan McClanahan; her stepchildren Zack Duby, Lexi (Garritt)Hall, and Ali Duby; grandchildren Marleigh, Aaliyah and 2 grandsons on the way; special friends Mary and Colt Herroon, Katalina Brickey, Xavier Jeffrey and so many more; and her fur bay Grr. She was proceeded in death by her father David McClanahan; her brother David McClanahan Jr., her beloved fur babies Shag and Raynee; and her very special family friend Vickie Ramirez.
