The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 27, 1953

Will J. McClelland, 69, for many years a Portland village businessman died at 
his home Monday night.  He had operated a general store at Portland which had 
been founded by his father, John A. McClelland.  He had been in business for 
50 years.  Mr. McClelland was a former officer of the Portland board of trade 
and had been active in that organization for many years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Young of Portland, and Mrs. Louis 
Hunsberger of Lansing.  

Funeral services are to be conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m. from the Neller 
funeral home with burial at Portland cemetery.
