          IN MEMORY OF
DAVID M. McCLELLAND
       January 1, 1939
      October 21, 2013
   Age 74, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013.  David was born on January 1, 1939
in Hastings, MI, the son of the late Damon D. and Mary Jane (Kimmel) McClelland.  He 
served with the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Upon return, he worked with Lindell Drop Forge 
and then was the Financial Secretary for U.A.W. Local 724.  
   David retired from the Capital Area United Way as their Labor Liaison.  He was a
member of Mayflower Congregational Church and board member of YMCA Mystic Lake Camp, 
was an avid golfer and loved his 1960 Corvette convertible.  Besides his parents, David 
was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Troutwine.  
   Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Ann; children, Kenneth (Evonne Bennett)
McClelland, Julie (Jeff Cassel) Watkins and Dennis McClelland; 6 grandchildren, Nicole 
and Rebecca McClelland, David Watkins, Kasey (Bill) Kirchen, Morgan Smith and Dominic 
McClelland;  2 great grandchildren, Emily and Braydon Kirchen;  sister, Sharon Rysdam;  
several nieces and nephews also survive  Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2:00 
p.m., at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel with Rev. Dr. 
Rick Martin of Mayflower Congregational Church officiating.  Private family interment
will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa, MI..  The family will receive friends 
Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m.. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made 
to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or Alpha-1foundation.org in memory of David.
