GERALD McCLELLAND

LAKE ODESSA- Mr Gerald R. McClelland age 76 of Route 3, Lake Odessa, died 
Thursday, Feb.1 at Borgess Medical Center. 

Services were held at 1:30 pm Monday, Feb.5, at Leonard-Osgood & Wren Funeral 
Home in Hastings. Pastor Jim Houseman officiated with burial in Woodland 
Cemetery, Vermontville.

Mr. McClelland was born in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio, July 19, 1902, son of Samuel and 
Daisy (Long) McClelland. He came to Woodland township in 1917 and finished 
school there.He served in World war II and was engaged in farming most his 
working life.

He is survived by three brothers; Norman McClelland of Woodland Damon (Pete) and 
Maynard McClelland both of Hastings; four sisters, Mrs.Hoert (Edna) Clark, Lake 
City, MI, Mrs.William (Margaret) Powers of Charlotte, Mrs.Florence Comp and Mrs 
(Phyllis) Wellfare both of Hastings.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pennock Hospital, Hastings.
