Ionia hive L.O.T.M. were present in a body, and about 50 of the employes of the Pere Marquette shops also testified their sympathy with the husband by attending. The sermon by Rev. W.B. Taylor was a feeling tribute to her life and character. The singing was by Misses Helen Beals and Fannie Yates and Messrs. Horace B. Peck and Clarence Winchell, with Miss Mildred Beals as organist. The bearers were Charles and Herbert Robb, Clarence Winchell and Harry McKerring, a nephew of deceased. The casket was covered with floral testimonial from many friends. The arrangements were, as far as possible, in obedience to request of deceased. Among friends from a distance were: Mrs. Jennie McDonald and Mr. Andrew McKerring of Durand; Mr. McClenan father, Miss Emma McClenan, sister; and Mrs. Don Smith, brother-in-law of husband, from Saginaw, and Miss Minnie Williston of Detroit. The interment was delayed until afternoon, on account of difficulty of preparing the grave in the deeply frozen ground.
