The Lyons Herald, Thursday, June 21, 1906
Michael McClory, proprietor of the hotel and saloon at Muir, died at Ionia 
Saturday morning as the result of a long continued drunk.  He was arrested on 
Thursday on the charge of being a disorderly person and taken to the Ionia 
jail to await his sobering up.  His condition becoming serious he was removed 
to the Hotel Ionia Friday night, where he died the day following.
