Funeral services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today for Merley McClow, 88, of 14299
Heffron Road, Belding, who died Friday, Dec. 13, 1991, at United Memorial
Hospital.  He was born Oct. 17, 1903, the son of Louie and Sylvia Barnes McClow.
 He was owner and operator of McClow Body Shop in Belding for 35 years and,
following his retirement in 1967, was manager of Breimayer Chevrolet Body Shop
for five years.

On Sept. 30, 1922, he married the former Marie Osworth in Sheridan.  She died
Sept. 28, 1988.  He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Williams, on
Jan. 20, 1990.

Surviving are a daughter, Patsy Bettenger, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons-in-law,
Philip Williams, Lowell, James Bliss, Belding; a foster son and his wife, Donald
and Jackie Foss, Belding.

The Rev. Kenneth Harger conducted funeral-committal services at Johnson Funeral
Home, Belding, where envelopes are available for memorial contributions to St.
Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
