He was the mainstay of his parents on the farm and his death resulted from an injury received by being struck with a plow handle during the spring plowing. An abscess formed and two operations were performed for his relief, from the last of which he had not sufficient strength to rally. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Baptist church in Palo. Additional Comments: Burial in Palo cemetery.
