Mrs. Sylvia A. McClow, 92, of 22 Belhaven, Belding, died suddenly Monday at 
Belding Community hospital.

Born at Allegan, May 22, 1881, she was a lifelong resident of the area, life 
member of the Farmers Union, former cook at Ionia County jail and also had 
worked for Vogue Services of Belding and Greenville.

Her husband Lule died in 1948.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Peterman of Belding, Mrs. Inez Hettler 
of St. Johns; son, Marley McClow of  Belding; five grandchildren and 11 great 
grandchildren; sister Mrs. Jessie Kinsnorth of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Hugh 
Barnes of Lyons and Orie Barnes of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Charles M. Courser funeral 
home in Belding. Rev. Eugene Lewis will officiate and interment will be in Palo 
cemetery.
