AMANDA LOU MCCONNELL 1942-2017
Amanda "Mandy" Lou McConnell, 74 of Greenville passed away unexpectedly on 
Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 in Arizona. Mandy was born in Ionia on May 31, 1942, the 
daughter of Dale and Mildred Jepson.

On Jan. 24, 1959 she married Jerry McConnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Daleann Wickerink.

Mandy is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Mark (Rhonda) and Brenda 
(Mike) Ritter; grandchildren Tiffany (Kevin) Stout, Trisha (Mark) Haist and 
Nathan Ritter; great-grandchildren, Braylon and Brooklyn Haist and Brennen 
Stout; sisters, Ginny (John) Whitham, Nancy (Wayne) Alexander; nieces and 
nephews.

Mandy was employed by Orelda for 28 years. She was a beloved quality control 
manager and made many lifelong friends there. Mandy loved reading and cross work 
puzzles. Her greatest joy was watching her children, grandchildren, and great-
grandchildren play sports.

Per Mandy's wishes, cremation has already taken place.

A memorial service will take place in the Spring.
