She was the daughter of Sylvanus and Emma Brown and was born in this city April 19, 1882 and had always lived in the immediate vicinity. Her husband, Robert McConnell, died 21 years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Tom Spencer of Orleans township, Mrs. Louis Lincoln of this city, Mrs. Raymond Smith, Long Island, N.Y. and Marion who made her home with her mother at the Spencer home; two sons, Arthur and Robert McConnell of Pottersville, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Rena Gleason of Lansing. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at two o’clock at Fitzjohn funeral home with Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating and burial was in River Ridge cemetery beside her husband. Pall bearers were Zenard Beckwith, Harold Robinson, Dale Potter, Bert Hill, Robert Treynor and Amos Bolster.
