Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 May 1966

A well-known Easton township farmer, Robert M. McCord, 69, died Monday morning
at his home.  He was born May 3, 1897, in Easton township, the son of Joseph and
Edla McCord and was married June 1920 at Saranac to Blanche Rowland who
survives.  He spent his entire life in Easton township and had lived in the same
home the past 60 years.

Surviving besides his wife, Blanche are two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Goodier of
McLean, Va.; and Mrs. Doris Montgomery of Ionia; three sons, Eldon, Richard and
Royce McCord, of Ionia; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, David McCord of Easton
and Paul of Ionia.

Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stone Kauffman funeral home
with burial at Easton cemetery.
