The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, October 3, 1988

Morris E. McCord, 59, of 516 S. Broad St., Belding, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 
1988 at his home.  He was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, Yvonne; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Judy) Marion, Ionia; 
three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Rhonda McCord, Daniel McCord, 
all of Ionia, Brad McCord, Belding; two brothers, Fred and Harold McCord, 
Ionia; four grandchildren.  

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, the Rev. 
Kenneth Martin officiating.  Interment is in Easton Cemetery.  The family will 
receive relatives and friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice or American Cancer Society.
