Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. May 25, 1968


Mrs. Marion L. McCord, 73, of Ionia, died Friday evening.

She was born February 16, 1894 in Grand Ledge, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Frederick Dunning. She was a graduate of Ionia high school and former school 
teacher at Grand Ledge, Orleans, Prairie Creek and Dildine schools.

January 1, 1918 she was married in Ionia to J. Paul McCord.

Surviving are three sons, Harold, Frederick and Morris all of Ionia; eight 
grandchildren; one sister Mildred Dunning of Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home with Rev. Ed 
Ooosterhouse of Dildine Community Christian Reformed church officiating. Burial 
will be in Easton cemetery.
