Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. May 9, 2013

James Lee McCord, 65, of Ionia passed away May 8, 2013 in Holland. He was born 
Sept. 21, 1947 in Grand Rapids, the son of Harold J. and Pauline J. (Shores) 
McCord.

James was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He later worked for 
AT&T as a Cable Splicer.

He is survived by his parents Harold and Pauline McCord of Ionia/ children, 
Barbara (David) Bowers of Holland, Sadanun McCord of Ionia and John Paul McCord 
of Ionia; and brother, Gary McCord of Ionia.

James was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jack.

Funeral Services for Mr. McCord will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10 at the 
Good Sheppard Lutheran Church in Lowell. Interment Easton Cemetery. Visitation 
Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
