Ionia Daily Standard, 15 Aug 1904

An adopted son of Jos. McCord of Easton was killed by the cars, at a mill 12 miles
north of Cadillac, where he was at work, Sunday morning.  Particulars not known. 
Remains will arrive here by express, and the funeral is fixed for 2 p.m. tomorrow,
at Easton church.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in
Boon Cemetery, Wexford County.]
