She had been a former resident of Saranac and it was only a few years ago that she left the village. Mrs. McCordan was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fremont Walter of Saranac. It was June 27, 1921, that she was married and went to Dutton to live. She leaves a baby six days old. She was a graduate of the Saranac high school and the Ionia County Normal. She had taught school in this county. She is survived by her parents, her husband, four sisters, Florence LaVern, Alexandria, N.Y., Mrs. Tassie Good of Ionia, Mrs. Ida Greenhoe of Muir, and Mrs. Blanche Stockford of Saranac, and one brother, Homer Walter, of Saranac. The funeral was to have been held on Thursday afternoon of this week from the home of the parents at Saranac, Rev. W.L. Halladay in charge.
