Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1951

Mrs. Emily McCormick, 89, formerly of Ionia, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Culverwell Gagenfurtner, at Virginia Park, Detroit, 
Saturday, October 27. 

Interment was in the family lot in Detroit.

Mrs. McCormick was employed for many years in the dry goods department at 
Carten's and Stevenson's until moving from Ionia with her daughter about 25 
years ago. 

While living in Ionia they lived for a time at 759 West Main street and 
attended the First Methodist church. She leaves besides her daughter, three 
grandchildren.
