Ionia County News, 12 Oct 1961

Louise Elizabeth McCormick, 72, passed away on Sunday, September 24, in Belding,
after being ill for a short time.  She was born in Minden City on February 16, 1889
and has lived in the Belding area for 50 years.  She owned and operated a restaurant
and belonged to St. Joseph’s church.  She married Clyde O. McCormick in Grand Rapids
on October 16, 1911.

Surviving are one daughter, Lillian; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Stecker of Utica and
Helen Erben of Belding; nine nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, at St. Joseph’s church in Belding. 
Father Charles E. Steves will officiate and interment is in St. Joseph’s cemetery in
Belding.
