Jerry David McCoy, 57, of Orleans passed away Monday, March 25, 2002 at his 
home.  He was born Sept. 25, 1944 in Mud Fork, Logan county, W.V., and raised 
by Elijah M. “Skeeter-Skeet” and Florence (Maynard) McCoy Booth.

He is survived by his wife, Florence “Becky” McCoy; daughters, Debra E. Howard 
and (fiancée, Michael Strotheid) of Wartburg, Tenn., Barbara A. (Kurt) 
Medendorp of Whitehall, Brenda S. McCoy (fiancée, Robert DeVita III) of 
Sterling Heights and Geri D. (James) Denman of Belding; mother, Florence McCoy 
Booth of Raglund, W.V.; step-children, Jerry J. Brown of Ionia, Korinna L. 
(Daniel) Snider of Kingsley, Darcey F. (fiancée, Misty Cope) of Saranac and 
Angel A. Brown (fiancée, Joshua Fanning) of Lansing; brothers, William B. 
(Patricia) McCoy of Marion, Ohio, Joseph A. (Dola) McCoy of Owensboro, Ken.; 
sister, Patricia A. Pepper of Manassas, Va.; and 15 grandchildren.

Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elijah; and half-brother, Jackie Ray 
McCoy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Marshall Funeral Home, 
Greenville.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., 
Tuesday.  Burial will be in Mayer Memorial Cemetery, Williamson, W.V.  Memorial 
contributions can be made in Jerry’s name to Hospice.
