Mrs. McCoy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Gove, and was born October 29, 1882 in Rathbone. She had been a resident of Ionia for the past 30 years and seven years ago she became the wife of Samuel McCoy. She was a member of the Church of Christ and an active worker in the different church organizations. Surviving are her husband, Samuel McCoy, one son Carl Cramer and a daughter, Mrs. John Westrick and two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Will Gillis of Breckenridge and Mrs. Earl LaRue, of Saginaw and one brother, Norman Gove, of St. Johns. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, April 28. Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate with interment at the North Star cemetery.
